Set up Regional Office in APAC for a global insurance group, streamlined & standardized processes & procedures, implemented SAP system and re-engineered the Finance functions in the region, driving strategic development with business growth from less than EUR60m to more than EUR130m within a span of 5 years

Executed legal restructuring and portfolio transfer project in APAC for an international insurance group and ensured compliance with all local regulatory requirements and Solvency II requirements in Europe, successfully negotiated a EUR10m tax loss transfer with the tax authority during the legal restructuring
Championed business transformation initiatives including RPA to automate processing tasks for a pharmaceutical group, established Centres of Excellence and Share Service Centres for both a global insurance group and a global insurance broker group centralising technical accounting tasks and offshoring Finance processing and Policy Administrative tasks, providing strategic and operational advice to a school trust in the UK on finance transformation

Steered corporate development by establishing a joint venture insurance agency company in China, successfully setting up an insurance branch in Taiwan and a broker company in Korea for a global insurance group, setting up new corporate & operational structure for a healthcare consultancy NGO in the UK and driving new business line development
Set up new business lines and expanded into new markets such as establishing Bonding Insurance and Collection business for a global insurance group, launching insurance agency business for a global insurance broker group, venturing cross-border eCommerce distribution channel & new Traditional Chinese Medicine’’ business line for a listed pharmaceutical group
Special assignments & strategic collaborations including accomplished the spin-off IPO listing of a healthcare group, led various M&A transactions for a listed pharmaceutical group, collaborated with the academic sector on research projects and worked closely with business partners to drive products development, markets expansion and distribution rights
